Description: We upgraded the substation to 2500 KVA to accommodate future production equipment, Installed private metering system to monitor all tenants in the building, and installed new lighting. We also connected new HVAC equipment in large warehouse section of plant.
Substation and Switchgear Failure
Multiple Tenant Industrial FacilityValue: $ 400K
Description: Due to water damage in the secondary switchgear, an explosion occurred and severely damaged the electrical system. Within 24 hours, we restored power to most of the building with the installation of a 1250 KW generator. With the assistance of 13 sub-trades, in 23 days we designed, engineered and completely rebuilt primary and secondary equipment.
Elementary/Secondary Schools

Description: Installation of fire alarm systems and removal of old; Upgrade lighting to T8 and T5HO type; Installation of occupancy sensors; Rewiring of labs and classrooms; Installation of emergency and stand-by systems.
Food Plant
Substation upgrade and new equipmentValue: $ 750K
Description: We were asked to design, supply and install a new 5000 KVA substation, to replace a failing 5000 KVA transformer. We installed thermal imaging viewports to monitor primary and secondary terminations. We designed, supplied and installed distribution and fire alarm systems for two additions to the plant. As well, we installed wiring for new state of the art equipment in production area and made electrical modifications to equipment wiring to meet CSA standards.
Chemical Plant
Plant distribution and 20,000 sq.ft. additionValue: $ 300K
Description: We installed power and control wiring for self-regulating and power limiting heat tracing cables, RTDs, control panels. We did the commissioning and start-up with an industrial systems integration company.
Dentist Offices and Operatories
Value: $ 150KDescription: We designed, supplied and installed the power distribution feeder, branch circuits and special lighting for 5000 sq.ft. of offices and operatories. We met the expectations of both the interior designer and the installers of specialized equipment while meeting the electrical code requirements for patient care areas.
LED Upgrade
Value: $40KDescription: We installed LED fixtures under main canopy and pole lights of a gas and service station.
Automated Warehouse
Arc Flash AnalysisValue: $20K
Description: We collected data from electrical distribution for approximately 100 points and created a one-line drawing with nameplate specifications for each device. We installed labels c/w flash protection boundary distances with incident energy levels and minimum PPE requirements.
Equipment Conversion
Value: $1K to 125KDescription: Electrical equipment must be certified to Canadian standards. We have modified equipment from the U.S.A., Italy, Germany, Ireland, Japan, and Taiwan. In some cases, a complete teardown was required, followed by control and power design, installation and approval by such agencies as ESA, Entela, CSA.
